Peppermill Cottage is just two minutes walk from the shore, in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Whitehills near Banff and just a few miles from Portsoy and Cullen.

It's perfect for experiencing the stunning scenery and picturesque villages of the Moray coast or exploring the wealth of fine whisky distilleries on offer and you'll be refreshed and relaxed by the peaceful, calm way of life and the warm and friendly local people.
Walk to the shore in a few minutes and begin to explore the lovely coastline.


An early 1900's terraced cottage Peppermill has a bright modern interior with an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area looking onto the garden.
The spacious dual aspect open plan kitchen/ livingroom with 40" smart tv is fully equipped for self catering with gas hob, electric oven, fridgefreezer, slow cooker and microwave.

Peppermill has everything you need for home cooking but with an easy walk to the highly recommended fish and chip shop. The excellent Seafield Inn right on the doorstep is a must for great pub meals and spectacular steak platters. Book ahead to be sure of a table on 01261 861209.

A pretty curved staircase leads up to a delightful, relaxing bedroom with very comfy king size bed and a walk through wardrobe into a fresh, modern ensuite shower room.
On the ground floor is a charming single bedroom with a full size daybed and handy downstairs toilet ensuite. 

Both bedrooms have a hairdryer and you'll find an iron and mini ironing board in the upstairs cupboard. Wifi and charging points are available throughout. 

There is a well stocked supermarket and cafe with off license (open 7 days till late) just past the Rockfish chip shop. 
Whitehills also boasts two hairdressers and an interesting wee curiosity shop.

Head down to the yacht marina where the Harbour Galley offers a delicious menu ( BYOB 01224  083593) and from there a level coastal path takes you all the way to Banff links. A great walk for the dogs .

A short drive takes you to Portsoy's famous ice cream shop and you'll also find Aspire restaurant, Port House Cafe and Symposium all providing lovely coffees, cakes and more.
Visit the historic 17th century harbour (where Peaky Blinders series 5 was filmed) for stunning views of this great coast and pop in to the characterful old pub The Shore Inn for a refreshment. 

On street parking is usually available right at the gate.
