Flowermill Cottage is right in the heart of the historic fishing village of Portknockie and offers you a charming and comfortable place to relax.
In traditional rustic style the cottage provides cosy accommodation with sea views, a sunny garden and private parking with EV charger.

The spacious dual aspect open plan kitchen/ livingroom with 40" smart tv* is fully equipped for self catering with fridge, freezer, oven and microwave.

Sleeping for four people is provided in the peaceful and romantic bedroom with king size bed and plenty wardrobe space, plus a second smaller bedroom with bunk beds.

There is a simple family bathroom with a powerful shower over the bath and soap and towels provided. ( Please bring own beach towels )
In the garden is an outhouse with a washing machine and rotary dryer.
You'll find the barbeque in there too.

The local shop caters well for holiday guests, usually carrying bbq stuff, pizza, icecreams, general bits and bobs and a good off licence range of wine and beers.

Just a few minutes walk will take you to the harbour with its tiny beach and paddling pool. Local services ( Portknockie fish and chip shop, Victoria Hotel, Seafield Inn, Spar, post office and the Chinese takeaway ) are all within 200 yards.

The incredibly scenic coastal path enters Portknockie from Cullen and continues on to Findochty, about 1.5 to 2 miles of easy walking in either direction.

Arrival and check in/out

To get to Flowermill use AB56 4LN and you will find the cottage at 14 Church Street, Portknockie. 

Parking is on Pulteney Street, behind the cottage. Please park on the right of the shared driveway between the red shed and the cottage.  Let us know if you need to use the EV charger. 

You will find a keybox on the shed door and your code is in the final payment recieved email. If you are unsure of the code just call me on 07484 693148.

Tip - leave the key in the box when you are out, no chance of losing it ! 

Make yourself at home. There's tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper available and you can pick up fresh milk at the Spar across the road.  It's open 7 days and has a good off licence section.

Towels and bed linen are all provided, and all the beds made.  

On departure please leave the used towels in the shower and don't trouble to strip beds. Do leave the cottage as you found it and let us  know of any breakages or accidents so I can sort those out  quickly.
